Tom joined from the National Gallery, where he was Head of Projects and Building Maintenance. He brings over 25 years of experience in building surveying, project management and construction, having begun his career with leading blue-chip specialist contractors before progressing into the management of some of the UK's most prestigious heritage assets.

Tom has developed particular expertise in the conservation, refurbishment and long-term stewardship of historic and listed buildings. He has successfully delivered complex projects across nationally significant heritage estates, including the National Gallery, Dulwich Picture Gallery, Blythe House and the Victoria and Albert Museum. His experience spans defect diagnosis, conservation-led refurbishment, planned preventative maintenance, and navigating the complexities of heritage legislation and listed building requirements. He is skilled at balancing the preservation of historically significant buildings with the practical demands of modern occupation, ensuring projects are delivered sensitively, compliantly and sustainably.

Throughout his career, Tom has led multi-million-pound, high-profile projects, implementing strategic maintenance programmes, driving operational improvements and introducing robust commercial and budgetary controls to protect valuable property assets.

Tom has a comprehensive understanding of statutory compliance, building safety and industry best practice. He holds qualifications in Health & Safety, First Aid and CDM, and is committed to delivering technically robust, practical solutions that safeguard the long-term future of the built environment.
