Royal Arsenal is a major heritage-led regeneration project transforming a historic military complex into a vibrant neighbourhood. The development includes the restoration and adaptive reuse of Grade I and II listed buildings into residential homes. The scheme blends sensitive conservation with modern placemaking, reconnecting this significant riverside site with the wider Woolwich community.
Project Overview:
We provide ongoing surveying support for the listed buildings at Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. Our work includes full range of surveying services from external remediation to internal refurbishment; and advising on remedial works that follow conservation best practices; carefully balancing preserving historic fabric with modern requirements. Our holistic approach supports the long-term preservation of these landmark buildings. This project highlights our expertise in building pathology, heritage conservation, as well as project management for diverse projects on complex historic sites.
